My design process begins with my original acrylic paintings.
After completing a piece, I scan the artwork, then refine and edit the image.
These paintings often serve as the foundation for creating new designs, which I then apply to home decor accessories, clothing, and more!

This pattern is called Tadpole, named for its resemblance to the larval stage of amphibians—a subtle nod to transformation and growth.

Tadpole is one of several floral patterns derived from my original acrylic painting, Flowers and Fairies. Each pattern in this series shares a visual language, allowing me to create a cohesive collection of products that not only reflect a consistent style but also carry the same story and spirit from the original artwork.

Flowers and Fairies: This vibrant painting showcases lively colors and enchanting patterns, capturing the whimsical beauty of flowers and fairies. I’m honored to have this painting selected for exhibition at the Marin County Fair 2024 in San Rafael, California. It took me about 10 months to complete this piece. I began it while on maternity leave, at eight months pregnant, never imagining that this painting would spark a newfound passion and ultimately shape my career.

This pattern is called Fairy, inspired by the whimsical, floral forms that echo the charm and mystery of fairies.

Eye is a pattern that symbolizes perception and presence, using a simplified eye form to reflect themes of observation and awareness.

The Eye pattern stems from Dream, an acrylic painting where I explored subconscious imagery through spontaneous, abstract shapes that reflect the essence of dreaming.

This painting tells the story of my life through its most meaningful moments. The eye symbolizes my intuition, while the star serves as a reminder to always trust it. The mountain with a path represents the life choices that have shaped my journey. Birds signify hope—something we all need at certain times. The fairy embodies my career, marking a new beginning. Yin and yang symbolize my marriage; the airplane, my experience with immigration. The hand stands for the resilience I needed to make difficult decisions. Mount Shasta represents clarity. The window filled with stars reflects the unknown and my insecurities surrounding it. The trees with deep roots remind me that where I come from holds its own beauty. The wave evokes California and my childhood spent by the ocean. The woman swimming represents my journey through motherhood. Finally, the mountain with the sun beneath it symbolizes the importance of building a strong foundation.

Titled Wave, this design embodies the fluidity and energy of a wave in motion.
